DEFINITION

Lorsqu'elle est cultivée dans le milieu aqueux de La Roche-Posay, la Vitreoscilla Filiformis devient une « super bactérie », appelée Aqua Posae Filiformis (ou APF), aux propriétés extraordinaires.

Naturellement présente dans de rares eaux thermales, cette bactérie jouit de vertus reconnues, en particulier sur les peaux à tendance atopique.

WHERE DOES IT 
COME FROM?

This unique thermal bacterial extract is obtained using biotechnology. 
  • The probiotic VF bacterium is cultivated in a medium enriched with La Roche-Posay thermal spring water.
  • As the latter contains rare trace elements (e.g. selenium), they act as a booster of VF beneficial biological properties. 
  • Once boosted, it becomes the prebiotic APF.
  • APF then undergoes a fragmentation process to obtain the desired bacterial extract.
